Bio:
Georgia May is a Nigeordian Neo-Soul vocalist, born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne with Nigerian roots. Her sound is defined by soothing timbres exposing contrasting emotions of lust and heartache with a poetic lyrical narrative. She's heavily influenced by 90's Hip-Hop, RnB, Afrobeats & soul. Tracks from Georgia May’s debut album ‘Mood Daze’ have been aired on BBC Introducing, 1Xtra, Reprezent radio and on Flex FM’s Live Lounge.
Georgia's captivating live vocals are complimented by Daps on keyboards, bringing jazzy chords with a gospel influence. The duo perform a variety of original material along with a few stylised covers. Georgia May is available with her full band set up (vocals, keys, bass, drums) on request.

Achievements:
Georgia has been a professional musician, earning income from performances for the last 15 years. She has performed at a range of public and private venues and festivals including: The Sage Gateshead, Alphabetti Theatre, Green Festival, Evolution Festival, Secret Garden Party, Lindisfarne, Boomtown, Beatherder, Cobalt Studios, Star & Shadow, Northumbria University Student Union and many more.
In the past, She's worked with some reputable local bands including Soznak, Portraits/Picturehouse Deluxe, Trinity Lo-fi and The Warm Collective as well as being a member of a local community choir Mouthful Voices and local gospel choir Voices of Virtue.
